Travelling alone can be exciting, yet a terrifying experience. Sometimes the lone traveler feels isolated, and this does not help him/her enjoy the trip. Lone travelling can be enjoyable and the traveller can experience moment of bliss by spending time with him/herself, but it is not for everyone, and no-one can be alone for a whole trip, it is not possible.
There are many ways of meeting new and exiting people, one of them being joining a coach tour if you cannot get any one to travel with you. there will be a number of people on the coach tour which the traveller can meet and mingle with and this adds some flavour and excitement ot the trip. Many of these people on the tour will be travelling alone, and many friends can be made. Many travellers will enjoy the security that a coach tour offers, and the lone traveler needs to delve and scan the environment to see which people he/she is most suitable to spend most of the time with. Most of the young peoples tours, like under thirty five's are full of under twenty ones who just go in for a good time and drinking party. if you fall in the mid twenties to late twenties and thirty age group then generally it is best to stick to this age group as they tend to stay away from the 'drinking crowd' who cannot even wake up the nest morning. Contiki is a good young person's tour. Trafalgar is a tour suited more for the older generation but is more expensive. It is advisable for the person travelling alone to go for a tour that caters for his/her age group, as he/she may feel out of place in a tour that is older or younger than him/her.
It is dangerous and not advisable to go touring to a country that you know very little about all on your own, especially if you are a female, because certain countries are not safe for females to go travelling alone. People who do not have any traveling companions can always try and and meet friendlier the Internet, but please BE CAREFUL, for not every one is what they seem. if you are unsure about these people go and meet him/her in person, and decide for yourself. Sites where adverts can be posted for free are Gumtree.com and friends can also be found on social networking sites like face book and Twitter. Why nor post a blog on the Internet asking someone who ever is free to accompany you on a trip. Known friends may also be interested. it does not hurt to phone up or e-mail an old friend that you have not seen in ages, and ask him/her to accompany you on the trip.
