Soul mate. Some may say that there is only one person in this world for them but others would strongly disagree. Soul mates can be anyone involved in your life. A soul mate could be your very best friend, your lover or even your sister. It all depends on how you define the people involved in your life.

There was a time when everyone was looking for that perfect person in their life to have children and grow old with. But now society has made it to easy to marry the one that you think might be the right person to do those things with. Some people end up very lucky and the person they have chosen ends up to be their very best friend and feels like a soul mate. Others are still searching. I know people that are holding out for that perfect person in their life and happy to do so. I know others that have lost all hope in the word love. Others that are just walking around wondering is there really someone out there for me or am I destined to be alone forever.

I do not believe anyone is destined to be alone forever, but I do believe that you have to love yourself before anyone else can love you the way you need to be loved. Do you honestly know who you are as a person? Do you love the person you have come to be in life? If you can not answer yes to both of those questions how is someone else going to do that for you? You can not expect someone to love you and become your soul mate in life if you can not even love yourself. It is time to change that part of your life and begin changing the things you do not like and learn to love yourself. Then I believe that the person you have been looking for will be standing right there before you. You may not have been able to see that person the same before but you do now, and that is what is important.

More often then not a soul mate ends up being your very best friend, even if they are a lover. For those of you out there that have found your soul mate to be your best friend or sister, you need to embrace that. Do not give up on love because you can still find that one special person that will complete your life. But feel very lucky to have your soul mate so close to you at the same time. Having a soul mate as a best friend or sister is one of the greatest joys in life. There is someone so close to you that is involved in everything you do and yet someone that you can talk to about anything in the world. That person will be the rock in your life when can not find the strength to, but that person will also be the first to tell you if something is wrong or you are doing something wrong. Have faith in that person as they have faith in you.
