Poetry: Advice to a young writer

by Crystal Elizabeth Webb

Created on: April 24, 2009

A writer's words...

Sometimes, they say,
words have weight.
Words are heavy
on a young
writer's hand.

The challenge
is to
make them
understand-
your plight;
to give them a
vivid vision,
Share your
wisdom-
Inspire;
Enlighten.
Learn to
Tune-In
-Listen-
Consider,
Consume;
Find yourself
an empty room
and write the words
that lighten you're load.
