Speculating on future educational styles

When our students heard the phrases that hammer our consciousness, some like: "Professor (a), the class is so boring it gives me a sleep," or the other, "... I love you, but the its subject is very boring. " The most important to overcome this dilemma is what we are doing to get this impression that teacher, study, school classes and things are "very boring". What are the methods we use to motivate our students? Is the contempt shown by many students that knowledge is not their fault, or that is missing is better communication between us - a problem of conflicting languages?

The younger generations develop an audiovisual language that calls on our part, new strategies, more comprehensive and challenging. A class exhibition and text printed on paper, are losing ground to Multimdia culture with its multiple technologies (TV, cable TV, Video Games, PC, CD-ROM, etc.) that, with all universe of sounds, moving images and color, Stephen Henderson and eaten more than we do.

We must understand that the young of today is not better or worse than the couple we were, what is happening in this beginning of millennium, is how to capture the information and knowledge have become more dynamic and fast. Accordingly, nothing in advance to establish the youth, a policy of confrontation or denial of their values, it would only of us, players of a knowledge based, outdated and therefore useless to the eyes.

Classes to build ever more attractive, have many technological resources that should be known and valued, an example is the wide development of educational programs and subject encyclopedias. With a minimum of knowledge in computer, we can plan our lessons on the computer, including images (photos, graphics, maps) and text in motion, adding music and sounds that may involve more the spirit, making the classroom more exciting and attractive.

Allies of Information and Communication Technologies, called the attention of young people to our content in the same conditions and equal to the attention that they provide the technological means that are in their homes and, of course, they would like to see the room - in-class. Explore the Internet and discover the wide variety of educational opportunities that we can use, such as the availability of material in our classes at our Site, the incentive for students to create thematic sites, training of groups of studies and research in the chats chat online (involving teachers, students and stakeholders) for discussion of old and new paradigms of science, finally, moving around the world and shortening the distance between those who have thirst for knowledge.

As educators, enjoy credibility and are benchmarks for the company. The youth, despite appearances, trust us, and that is why we should believe that all is not lost. There is light at the end of the tunnel. Think about it, because the future is already here and he demands answers ...
