If I Were to Die Today!
If I were to die today,
my heart would break into infinite pieces
for all of the things I wanted to do, but never did.
If I were to die today,
I would give you what is left of my dreams to chase
away the nightmares of adversity, to replenish
your spirit from the ever lingering anguish and despair.
If I were to die today,
my soul would no longer be restless in this
unpleasant world and I would finally find my place
among the heavenly bodies of stars in the zenith
If I were to die today,
I would no longer be discouraged or ponder the fact
that I am not good enough, because through all
of my observations and listening, I have
gained enough wisdom, strength, and courage
from you to know the absolute truth.

Poetry: If I die today
If I die today
I hope that I have shown in every way
How much I love them, how much I care
That my life would not be the same
If I should die today
And memories came my way
I would think of her first
She who made my heart burst
My wife and
If I die today and looked truly dead
Would someone come in and make the bed.
And while you're washing my dirty dishes
Know
Your world won't implode.
Your soul won't begin to decay
if I should die some time today.
Diseases and disharmony
will
If I die today and my life were over,
What will you remember?
Am I someone you will miss?
How will you choose to reminisce?
