Dreaming with God, Secrets to Redesigning Your World Through God's Creative Flow by Bill Johnson is a book to ignite your passion for all things creative. Johnson throughout the book encourages the reader to seek God about the creativity He placed within each person to dream big dreams and believe God wants to give you the desires of your heart.

Johnson is not writing about a selfish kind of dreaming just for selfish ambition or personal gain but the kind of dreaming to help you identify and seek to achieve the call on your life. Johnson talks in a chapter titled, "Invading Babylon," how Christians using their God given creativity should be making an impact on the marketplace. He suggest Christians should not only be bringing about financial blessings through using their creativity in the marketplace but should also be running their businesses in a way that is a good Christian witness of a fulfilled and enjoyable life.

Another area of invasion that Johnson suggests that Christians pursue is in the area of entertainment such as TV, movies, music, and the arts. Christians shouldn't just complain about ungodly productions they should pursue the skills and resources needed to produce quality alternatives to what is already being produced in these areas.

One of the chapter titles is "The Creative Edge," where Johnson discusses how Christians who have the living God inside of them should have a creative edge over unbelievers. He talks about how the Holy Spirit inside believers should be expressed though a variety of creative outlets. God, who is the creator of all, is our heavenly Father and we should reflect aspects of who He is through our creative expression. All of the ideas and suggestions Johnson makes to the reader are backed up by scriptures from both the Old and New Testaments.

Here is one profound quote found in the first paragraph of a chapter titled, "Celebrating the Living Word." "The ability to hear God, especially from His Word, is a mandatory skill if we are to enter divine purpose and true creative expression."

The reader of this book will find inspiration on each page to step into the call on his or her life especially in the areas of the creative arts. The reader may also find him or herself grabbing on to dreams that he or she laid down thinking they were unable to pursue them in conjunction with being a good productive Christian. Through this book many lies will be dispelled and many strongholds broken. Read and redesign.
