With Tiger Woods being the most popular name in sports on this planet it is easy to see why the sport of golf has grown in popularity these days. I myself am an avid golfer who loves to get out on the course on a gorgeous sunny day and listen to the quietness and take in the beautiful scenery that nature has to offer us. Golf is the perfect get away especially if you happen to work in a public environment! It is also a great way to entertain your customers and discuss a possible business transaction at the same time. It's a chance to get away from all the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Just being able to smack that little white ball around will remove an enormous amount of stress!

If your husband appears reluctant to give golf a try for fear of looking bad on the golf course you can always encourage him to take a private golf lesson! A golf pro can get your man off to a more confident and reassuring start. Another way to pique his curiosity is to introduce him to friends that love to play golf. This will give him some extra incentive and also develop his socialising skills. Also make sure you subscribe to the golf channel. Leave the television on the golf channel so when he comes home from work you will have him right where you want him. The golf channel frequently displays golf lessons and tips to improve any golfers' game whether your an amateur or a seasoned pro.

If you happen to want to play golf and you cannot find a friend or partner to play with you can always show up to play alone. If this is the case the starter will in most likelihood place you with another group to complete the foursome. I have done this on several occasions and met very interesting people and even made some new friends!

A day on the golf course is a day well spent! The beauty of nature surrounding you at every turn along with the benefits you will reap from walking the average 5 mile course are truly a real reward in themselves. If you are among friends and have finished your round of golf next in line comes the nineteenth hole. Here you have the opportunity to discuss the events and experiences that surrounded your day. Afterwards you can sit back relax and enjoy a good meal at the club house. You will also have the chance to meet new people, make new friends, and plan your next round of golf.

So what are you waiting for, get out there and show yourself and all the others in your life all those natural abilities that we always knew you had hidden in you.
