mocking
her honest garb
pretending
they cared
Dour
they frowned
ridiculing
her good nature
pretending
they cared
Callous
they spat
resenting
her warm heart
pretending
they cared
Ruthless
they struck
exploiting
her generous spirit
pretending
they cared
Shocked
they watched
fearing
her blazing truth
pretending?
not her
