Being with my sisters now is more important and more fun than it used to be. It's more important now because I am becoming an adult, and I require a good friend who will stick by me to the end. I have friends, but often enough, friends come and go in high school years. A sister lasts for a lifetime.
So I have been bonding with my sisters, and believe me, there are more ways than one. If you are holding a grudge against your sister, I also have some tips to get rid of that nasty grudge and help you two bond.
Holding a grudge, then? Perhaps apologize. I know you probably weren't the one who did whatever happened, but it's time to let it go. I mean, this grudge could go on forever and you don't want to wait for her to apologize. Maybe she's waiting for you. We all have pride, you know. Some have more than others. Besides, once you apologize, she'll probably apologize back and you two will be jolly chaps again. If she did, in fact, do it, though, apologize for being mad and that you don't want her to be mad with you. It works better that way. No rejections, no anger. You both will be friends again.
So now that we`re friends, how do we keep the bond going? If you`re already friends, great, but here are some tips to help you guys bond.
First off, make some time to meet face to face. Email or phone is not always the best solution, but if you live far away from each other it's probably the best option for now. But, you can always travel back to see her or ask her to meet you where you live and you two could spend the weekend together. Maybe watch your favourite movies together, go shopping, cook some meals together if you guys like cooking and then chat over how good or bad the meal is and some other stuff (conversation is always really good), or maybe if you're bookworms trade some books with each other, tell them what each both is about, etc. There are so many bonding ways to get to know your sister and stay close.
Going to the beach is another great way to bond. Both of you are having fun, and if you two like dating, it's a great way to nab some guys on the side. You two could bond over each other's first date with the man, the first kiss, maybe even the first fight. When you fight with someone you care about, a person's first instinct is to run to someone else to comfort us. A sister is a great person to run to, right? So long as you two are close. But even if you aren't, you two could bond over fighting with boyfriends anyways. It lets you and her know what kind of
