Beginners guide to blogging

When wanting to earn some cash from your blog, you might get stuck at the very beginning of the process. A person might find themselves pondering on what to blog about. I will list the top five blogs that no one should even consider to do since it will never produce a good source of income.

1. The Nothing Blog: This is the type of blog that is basically designed to just show ad after ad. You are doing it only for the money, nothing else. These blogs usually get very low traffic and users will never click on your ads. These are the blogs that have ads plastered all over while a word or two is in between the ads.

2. The Everything Blog: The opposite of the nothing blog, this blog talks about every single thing. It doesn't stick to one subject, the subject that the author knows best. What this blog usually is, is that it tries to cover everything. Here's the keyword, it tries. It doesn't do a good job at it either since it wants to talk about everything. This isn't the best since the readers will go to other blogs that know the subject much better where the author sticks to that subject only.

3. The X-rated Blog: This blog desperately wants people to click on the ads and feels that the only way they will click on the ads is though posting X-rated content. What authors of these types of blogs need to know is that there are websites out there that offer more pictures with fewer words than your blog, hence viewers will shift to their websites instead of your blog. Why visit a blog that has a few words and can only publish one or two pictures of girls a day, why not go straight to a website that offers many girls and fewer words? Get where I'm going with this one? Enough said.

4 . The Copy and Paste Blog: I hate these the most. The copy and paste blog where everything single thing can be found at a more credible website. You know what I am talking about, the blogs that get their content from yahoo or msn. They offer no new news or new opinions, but basically the same stuff, just at a different URL. These blogs will not only bug off your readers, direct traffic & money towards other blogs or websites, but might also get you into a legal issue with copyright infringements.

5. The Never Updated Blog: This is the blog that starts off really great but then seems to die after a day or two. The authors usually get bored with blogging or don't feel it is worth it anymore. These blogs probably got some traffic in the beginning, not a lot, but the authors might have been frustrated with low traffic or low earnings. Big mistake! To earn money, you need to stick to it and update every single day. Can't do it every day? Fine, then try for at least five days a week. Make it a routine to blog everyday so that your reader base continues to grow, making you more traffic and in return making you more money.

The point is, make a blog about what interests you the most. It will attracts readers that are also interested in the same thing. Make yourself the expert in that subject, so that whoever searches for your subject will continue to come back to your blog because they will believe you know it best.
