I remembered yesterday,
and I want to go back.
I saw pictures of myself,
and it made me so sad.
I used to be so happy.
I wonder when it stopped.
I used to love to live,
then suddenly I did not.
I saw how i used to smile.
I remember how it felt.
I used to surround myself in love,
I had dreams, love made me melt.
I used to sing with such power.
I don't remember how.
I wish I could sing again,
I wonder if I could do it now.
I see myself in the mirror,
and I wonder what went wrong.
When did I forget the words
to all my favorite songs.
I wonder if I will ever believe
that I could live again.
Every day that I struggle through
is another day I win.
