I've been lied to, cheated on, stepped on, and abused.
I've been strung along, led on, left, and used.
I've been made a fool of, I've made a fool of me.
I've ignored signs and signals that were plain to see.
I've hoped , and I've prayed, I've pleaded with fate.
I've been desperate, violent, and filled with hate.
I've been destroyed, and beated by my fear of alone.
I've walked stragight into heartache to avoid being torn.
I've fought, and I've struggled to hold onto nothing.
I've denied, I've cried, and I have lost everything.
I've lived, and I've died for the dream of finding love.
I've learned, I've relented, I have finally given up.
