I lost my voice, I cannot speeak,
I have nothing left to say.
My heart is shattered, my spirit crushed,
and my soul has drifted away.
I woke up one morning exhausted from crying.
I fought, and struggled all night to keep from dying.
It rendered me speechless, I could not remember words,
and it seemed I could not use my vocal chords.
I laughed at the irony, but I never made a sound.
No one was listening, no one heard me hit the ground.
i listen carefully, I watch with open eyes.
There is nothing said I have not heard a mllion times.
The words are lost to me, just another pare.
There is not much left to fall away from my broken heart.

without you here it
