Let us make a brief flight on the philosophy today.
We believe the reason for philosophy seeking greater understanding of the real. The Myth is a form of explanation, but with symbolic features, fantastic, and without the religious rationality of philosophy itself. This, in turn, has set out the basis of coherence,
reasonableness and logic of reasoning. The true reality of a philosophical point of view is affected by the accuracy and reasonableness of the arguments of the arguments. So we can say that philosophy deals with a systematic explanation of the real.
However we can only say that common sense is also a way not only of people they relate to the real, but also a form of knowledge. Therefore, if we talk about knowledge mythic-religious philosophy and knowledge, we can talk, too, knowledge of common sense.
Common Sense
Come from a seemingly simple statement: routine is explained not only by the binomial myth-philosophy-science or philosophy. Even that not all people are used to create myths or philosophical analysis, and few are devoted to scientific research. How, then, most people relate to the realities? Since we are not in times of mythical explanations, the daily lives of people is filled with explanations of common sense.
But that is what we call common sense?
There are several answers. Rubem Alves says he prefers not defined. Shows, however some notions. Starts saying that "common sense is what is not science and that includes all income for the day to day, and the ideals and hopes that form the cover of the cookbook.
Primarily we can say that common sense explanation is that the people for the people. That is, one that is based on subjectivity which generalizes: what one person thinks is the truth, through dialogue uncritical, is now seen as truth of a group of people or a community. You can also say that common sense is the popular understanding of some aspect of reality. Understanding which is characterized by being contradictory, partial, biased, fragmented, tends to absolutizar a point of view. This trend lends absolutizante common sense to a dogmatic character. You can also say that common sense is a first impression on a certain reality.
Philosophy is a subject that will never cease to exist probably, you need to keep on working ot it until you reach all the supreme knowledge which is something you will never achieve because something like that does not exist.
