"All we need is love." From the smash hit of The Beatles. What is love? Love obviously comes from emotion, but there's not particulary one thing that makes up love inparticular. We all need it. I don't care who you are, everyone has the ability to love someone. Even people who are considered evil, mean hearted in this world. Maybe lack-of love is a reason why they've become what they are. Bitter, cold, and hateful from not enough love in their lives. Love opens up new doors for us. Things we aren't sure we're capable of feeling or doing. It can bring out the best in each other and the worse.
Do you ever feel the sense when everything seems to be going wrong, and a hand of love reaches us. From a stranger, friend, or to a love mate. That just the act of love can give us a sense of security that everything will be okay? We instantly feel safe and gain hope once again. Love can raise us up as people. We depend on love to function as humans. We can't function just on love in itself, but I believe its single handily the most powerful emotion one human can give to another one.
That's what we need more in this world, to show the act of love to one another. Maybe that's why the world is what it is, not enough love given. Not enough kindness, which is an act of love in itself. It seems so simple, but complexed for the average human to understand that. Despite the fact everyone of us is capable of loving and needs love in our life. Loving unselfishly is a difficult task though.
Love can be hurtful. Love can cause trouble in our lives. Love can make you do things wild, impulsive, and crazy all in the name of that word. Most logic can be thrown out when that feeling creeps up into us. It's difficult to maintain control and discipline. Why is that? Because we're afraid of losing it? Because we're so dependent on it? Because it's the one thing that can push man to it's breaking point? It's hard to determine any kind of reason with love. Sometimes we can't explain why we do the things we do, outside the simple feeling of it in itself.
A lot would scarfice for it. Isn't that what Jesus did for us? Jesus died for us in the ultimate scarfice. An act that was so unselfish and consiterate. He suffered, died and was buried for it. He showed the greatest act of love for all of us. He died for our sins, he died so man can live forever in his name. He showed us the way we're suppose to love one another.
Everyone has the ability to love, but we go about it the inproper way majority of times in our society. Our ways can be destructive, hurtful, and even dangerous. This feeling becomes a need. We need love, we need to have it. We can't lose. We don't do well when losing it. Love has so many different meanings and brings out different emotions in us. Some of them sad, happy, and angry. It has so much different kinds of impact on the world today. Some positive, hopeful, destructive, and even dangerous. Love can save our lives, or damage us. There's no emotion more powerful than love. It's up to us on how to use it in a positive way in our lives.
