"Sanctuary"
As comforting as a familiar
scent,
warm and
welcoming,
soft and wonderful,
my
Sanctuary gathers me.
Composes me. A realization of
complete
passion washes over me,
waves lapping
over me. I am left dumbfounded
mute to the emotions
swelling in my chest
I am
Lost within my
Sanctuary
Lost and
simultaneously Found.
Calm, white light,
arms wrapped tightly
around me.
Comfort.
Love.
Sanctuary.
My Sanctuary.

Embracing
If the soul that was created
the same moment that my soul was made
were to walk in the world with me,
were to stand beside
