What I Hope For You
What it comes time for you to look back on all your years
I hope it's with a smile and not with tears
When you are thinking of the roads you have traveled in days gone by
I hope you will remember all your reasons why
When you are given the choices that life hands you
I hope you always do what your heart tells you to
If leaving means taking chances, I hope you can see
That chances are worth taking, whatever they may be
When the future seems so far off in the distance
I hope you never take the path of least resistance
If at the end of your tunnel, you see no light
I hope you turn around, and run with all your might
When you have nothing left to live for but your dreams
I hope you know, life can be more than it seems
When you know there is a better way
I hope you have the sense to obey
When you look up into the night sky
I hope you see the stars and wonder why
If there are questions still tugging at your mind
I hope you don't give up until the answers you find
When you lose your way, and feel all alone
I hope you'll always remember how to find home
If it seems your troubles never go away
I hope you remember how to pray
When life blesses you with the gift of love
I hope you have the strength from God above
If you feel you cannot make it last
I hope you give it another fighting chance
When your life is finally at its end
I hope you never wonder what could have been
When you think love might be a mistake
I hope you know, it's one worth it to make
When you see two roads that you can take
I hope you look at them as if your life is at stake
When you think you have nothing to lose
I hope you know, you always do
When you think you have nothing left
I hope you appreciate every breath
When time rushes you along
I hope you never wonder where your life has gone

The morning dew that had settled on my petals

A rickety boat a sailing went,
Found peace of mind in a sea hell bent,
Where none would venture this boat was sent,
Her name
There's a light on an ocean
from a window on the shore.
It escapes the human touch
and filters through the door
to a world unknown

How hard the trials and temptations put you to despair
and loose faith, there is a rock whom

Beautiful as a newborn light
Kind as the friend in my stead
Wonderful as a job well done
