Old Memories
Memories of joy, sadness and fear
crowd my mind from our yester-year.
The times we've laughed, the tears shed
the words of love, left unsaid.
Family and friends, a last good-bye.
Aged photographs, tears for the eye.
Our paths turn in the final bend
our earthly dreams spiral and end.
Too soon our time will pass away
owning old memories of yesterday.
And all of our joy, sadness and fear
will belong to our ghosts of yester-year.
