These are steps taken by the followers of Jesus in the bible as commanded.

Hear, Believe, Repent, Confess Faith, Baptized (Fully Immersed)

1) "Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the Word of Christ Romans 10:17 (For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life" John 3:16)

2) "Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not will be condemned" Mark 16:16

3) "But unless you repent, you too will all perish" Luke 13:3

4) "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. For whoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" - Romans 10:9,13

5) "We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the father, we too may live a new life" Romans 6:4

(Note: Infants cannot believe, repent, or confess by mouth and have not reached the age of accountability. Also, , the Greek word from which baptize is derived, means "to immerse, submerge" as biblical examples show, including the baptism of Jesus, himself, in Matthew 3:16 as "he went up out of the water".)

(Note: You are now forgiven of your sins and have received the gifts of the Holy Spirit and Eternal Life. You are now part of the body of Christ, a member of the church (His body). You are now saved from the wrath to come! You are now "In Christ". As you can see, certain steps need to be taken before being baptized. If you have not been baptized correctly, any Christian who has been may help you.)

DO THE BEST THAT YOU CAN TO BE FAITHFUL UNTIL DEATH:

"Be faithful until death and I will give you the crown of life Revelation 2:10

Romans 3:10 tells us that "There is no one righteous, not even one". As humans, we will continue to sin on occasions. Christians are forgiven by repenting. If you have strayed from the church, Christians are restored by repenting as well. Continue walking in the light! - In Christ Jesus.

"But if we walk in the light as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his son, purifies us from all sin". 1 John 1:7

SOME SCRIPTURES TO KEEP IN MIND:

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding."

"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts." Isaiah 55:8-9

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7

"But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." - Matthew 6:33

"This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it."
Psalm 118:24
