Web sites are a great form of passive income because once the upfront programming is finished, you can continue to create an income for a long period of time.

E-books

E-books are another way to provide a passive income. Once you attract an audience of readers through blogging, writing, and websites, you can give your readers more by writing an E-book.

An E-book can be as simple as a compilation of your best articles or it could be a completely new body of work.

Internet Marketing

Internet marketing like Google Adwords is almost a completely passive source of income. Most of the work is already done for you. You merely need to create a banner from their website and copy and paste it to your blog or website. Although Internet marketing is passive income, it tends to pay very low per click.

Affiliate Marketing

Affiliate marketing like Amazon associates, Clickbank, Commission Junction is another form of passive income that works well with other methods like blogging and websites. For example, If your blog or web site provides fitness information, there is a variety of ways to use affiliate marketing to generate income. Through Amazon you can offer E-books related to fitness or you can direct readers to an affiliate weight loss membership site. The idea is every time someone purchases you earn a commission. Affiliate Marketing tends to generate a higher level of income for purchase than the former method of paid per click.

As an overview, truthfully the best way to generate income is to use a combination of these methods that synergize together to provide an overall the larger income that each method alone. That's my no BS guide to making money online.
