Sex can be both beneficial and detrimental to our health depending on our approach to sex. If someone has sex with a partner without coming from a place of love then they are just using a partner as a dumping ground while inviting energies around both partners that will do the same. This is where sex is detrimental to our health.

As with everything in our world sex can be a tool for both positive and negative intent. There are oodles of books on the market that will give you sexual to practices to do by yourself or with a partner. Some techniques if used negatively can draw the life force energy from a partner, even killing them. Used positively they can expand the consciousness of both partners as well as create a healthy vibrancy of being. This is because we can learn to direct our sexual energy to transform diseases in our bodies and our lives.

Traditionally most of the information has been directed towards fulfilling man's needs. Increasingly though there is more information available that empowers woman. As with any information presented it is important to be discerning and sift through for what is of importance to you.

Books such as "Healing love with the Tao, Sexual teachings of the White Tigress, The Cosmic Orbit and Taoist Secrets of Love" are just a few books that offer useful techniques that can expand your awareness of how to direct your energy to heal your body, create more pleasure and awaken your sensual self.

For women there are techniques that can be utilized to increase or decrease breast size as well as jade egg practices that will strengthen internal organs among other things. A man's sperm can create youthfulness for woman and a woman's blood can benefit man as well.

The practices revealed in these books are of benefit yet they fail to give the whole picture for working with your sexual energy. This is because all systems need to evolve. All information put out into the world via the different modes of communication come through the filtering systems of whoever is presenting the material.

Some books I have read bring views from woman that are just as out of balance as the dominating views that come from some aspects of man. When both man and woman come together with their energies in balance a spiritual alchemy can take place that makes waves throughout the planet.

To have the greatest health benefits from sex it is best for both partners to be integrating higher aspects of themselves with their physical being and into the union with their partner.
