Even if you are on a tight budget, you can still manage to plan for a vacation on the beach.  All you need to do is to employ a little creativity.  It doesn't have to be an expensive location, yet it can still be a lot of fun. As long as you plan for your vacation on time and organize it by employing efficient financial planning and management skills, you can still manage to go on a vacation without much money. You don't have to go as far this year but could go to the nearest beach around.

Below listed are several suggestions on how you can plan for a beach vacation on a tight budget

1. Do advanced planning for your vacation so you can start saving your money on time

The less popular beach location you pick, the less it will cost you.  You'll still get to enjoy the sea, sun, fresh air, and the smell of the seaside.  Try to think outside the box and get creative when choosing a location to rest at.  Buy your necessities such as sun screen and similar at home where you can get it for cheaper price and bring it along with you. Travel off season as it will be cheaper then. Best timing in terms of most affordable price would be prior to June or after.

2. Rent private accommodation in order to save up on food

You don't have to be staying in an expensive hotel. With advanced planning, you might find some really cheap accommodation in a private housing where you can cook for yourself. You will manage to save up significantly. If there is a grill outside this house, use it. Buy and eat fresh fruit in the area as it is probably inexpensive. Bring along some cheap food from home that you can use as snacks while at the beach.

3. Plan to go on a vacation with friends

Go to your vacation with friends as it will be more fun and cheaper to use only one van for both of the families. You could save up on gas this way.

4. Save money for beach vacation in your piggy bank

Place a determined percentage of each dollar you earn into a piggy banks designed for savings for your vacation. Do it at least six months ahead of the vacation. Whatever you and your kids are able to save up will come very handy on your vacation.

5. Don't buy new clothes and make-up

Rather than spending money on yet new clothes and bathing suits, use the ones you already have in your closet. Don't spend money on make-up. You won't really need it once you get a nice tan from the sun.

6. Plan to engage in inexpensive or free activities at the beach

Do walking rather than expensive boat riding. Enjoy your swimming to the fullest and don't forget to relax.
