Southern California is a very large area and in that area there are many places that serve wonderful quiche. Here are just a few of the most highly recommended of them.
Mimi's is a chain which has its roots in southern California. They opened their first restaurant over thirty years ago in Anaheim and today have restaurants in 22 states. They are a French themed restaurant with a cottage ambiance, which makes quiche a perfect choice for the luncheon menu.
They offer three freshly baked varieties Quiche Lorraine with bacon and Swiss cheese, cheddar and broccoli and crab, sweet corn and asparagus served with baby spring greens, fresh fruit and one of their justifiably beloved muffins.
With over 50 locations in California there is sure to be one close to where ever you are in Southern California.
They call themselves an English garden and their lovely and peaceful outdoor patio is as close to an English Garden as you can find in this ocean front city. They offer three varieties of Quiche, Spinach Mushroom, Goat cheese, Tomato, basil and Quiche Lorraine. All of these can be enjoyed with homemade lemonade, fresh squeezed orange juice or one of their specialty coffees. They are new to the area but they have been developing a loyal clientele.
Quiche Lorraine, Spinach quiche and mushroom quiche. Salmon quiche served with baby greens. This Euro Bistro is operated by a French couple who caters to a European clientele who enjoy sitting on the patio drinking their coffee and picking up some imported French goodies to take home. The quiches are heavenly and offered in the classic quiche Lorraine, spinach and mushroom varieties.. There will also be a quiche of the day which may be salmon or vegetable or other delectable options. If you are looking for a little piece of France, and you will no doubt here it being spoken here, without the attitude, this is the perfect spot to take a Gallic culinary journey.
From Aix en Provence to West Hollywood, the ambiance and flavor of France have made an authentic transition. Imported Richard Coffee and plenty of atmosphere make this a great place to savor quiche and salads. The quiche of the day will be whatever is the freshest ingredient. What will change is the salad that is offered with it. Fraicheur will have cherry tomatoes, croutons, olive oil, balsamic vinegar and herbs de Provence; Milanese, pesto, pine nuts, mozzarella, sundried tomatoes, shredded parmesan and more. There are other options to tantalize your taste buds and finishing with one of their sweet crepes will make your French dining experience complete.
These are just a few of the many places in Southern California where you can savor one of France's delights, the quiche. What are you waiting for, get out there and manger quiche avec votre ami ou bien aimee.
