Understanding the difference between intelligence and wisdom

A person can be highly intelligent while being unwise.
Wisdom can't be taught. Intelligence is having knowledge and knowing how to apply it.
Wisdom is more of a right or wrong thing. Knowing what's true or right coupled with just judgment.
In a sense the two can be confused, since they both involve knowledge and applications. However, wisdom is the use of the big picture, balancing right and wrong, and acting on it.
The great intelligence of Einstein is responsible for nuclear power, he was also wise enough (he had insight) to leave Germany before they could take his findings and put them to the unwise development of the A-bomb.
Great intelligence goes into the advancements of our civilization, though the lack of wisdom and insight lead to misuse of our intelligence.
Without wisdom, intelligence can be dangerous.
