Nothing compares with race day excitement as thousands of fans gather at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in May. The excitement and thrill of the crowd fills the air and is exhilarating, making the Indy500 one of the most exciting and spectacular events in racing, but hotels will fill up quickly and you'll want to make your reservations ahead. May 24, 2009 is the Indy500 race day.
