This romantic hotel is nestled in St. Louis and from the outside the lodge, while attractive in appearance, at first glance doesn't seem like a remote destination for your quiet hideaway.

Yet once you get inside you are immediately transformed to a whole new world. Decorated in old English style with a charming appearance, the Cheshire is a wonderful place to spend a night, weekend or a vacation with your mate.

Operating as a family business for over 40 years, the Cheshire has a lot to offer in terms of romance. The lobby is bejeweled with antiques and lovely decor and you can't help but feel transported to a remote English location.

Each guest room is uniquely decorated and the aura in the hotel radiates romance, despite its obvious setup to accommodate business travelers as well. Each room has a comfortable king-sized bed, is beautifully furnished, and the walls are thick to ensure privacy and quiet during a guest's stay. This suite whisks you and your love away to India where you can spend your visit treated as an Indian prince and princess. You are greeted with red carpet that leads to raised king bed. During your stay you can relax in the heart shaped Jacuzzi with tinted red mirrors; there is even a throne to make your royal visit complete.

*Ultimate Bathe

Not only does this suite have the elaborate luxury the hotel is known for, but also has a specially lit Jacuzzi for two designed to enhance the already romantic atmosphere. The dimly lit gold-studded room gives off sensations of romance and is equipped with a king canopy bed to set the romantic tone.

*Treehouse at Sherwood Forest
