Silverly
Silverly, silverly the rain patters down,
Silently, silently like the tears of a clown.
Raindrops of diamond gleam in the skies,
Softly, and sadly, like lost butterflies.
Magically, magically on the wings of a dove,
I open my heart, and send you my love.
Tenderly, tenderly, like pink champagne flowers-
I dream and imagine, gently, for hours.
Blessedly, blessedly, like a sweet midnight haze,
My rainbow flowers smile in their vase.
Dreamily, dreamily, like the blue shining sea,
The light of tomorrow, falls upon me.
Honestly, honestly, I recall tales of old,
Sweet moonlight dancers, and streets paved with gold.
Helplessly, helplessly I loose track of time,
I'm remembering the days when those stories were mine.
Eagerly, eagerly I broaden my mind
Forgetting tomorrow and what grief I might find.
Aimlessly, aimlessly, my daydream and I
We weave together, and together we'll fly,
'Til today is a memory and tomorrow is lost,
'Til the sky is a teardrop and the moon turns to frost.
Prettily, prettily, the sun rises high,
Stand by, my love, 'til evening comes nigh.
Silverly, silverly, silverly-sweet,
Like silk fairy voices and the echoes they greet.
Faithfully, faithfully, like their blue glossy eyes
The once setting sun, now begins to rise.
Quietly, quietly, the filmy light spills,
O'er the ground and the fences and hills,
Freely, freely the boundaries fall,
For my beloved daydream, reality does call,
I bypass the real and pass into forever,
Where no-one says maybe, and no-one says never.
The rainbows are spellbound,
Like the sapphire blue skies,
The emerald green grasses
And the empresses eyes.
Pure eyes of diamond
Shine over my heart.................
My daydream and I............'til death do us part.
