He wrote her a song without words
listening hearts heard the sweet melody-
play, "I'll show you a life without hurt-
all the beautiful things that could be"
He wrote of her light in his song-
of its beauty and warmth cruelly caged
Knew the road to her warmth, yet unworn-
would find travelers, many, engaged
He'd banish her tears with his song-
tears of yesterday's dark melodies,
that gave spoils to all those who'd won
and jailed others in sad destinies
One day, he'll let loose the song,
see the jailer loosen her chain,
and all those around will be shook-
beauty battled, won and remains

Poetry: Love songs
by Tom Mcmurray
I wrote these words to our love song
upon the grass of our front lawn
between the evergreen, now gone,
and rising yellow

"Love Songs"
Songs of laughter,
and songs of sad,
and playful little love songs,
that almost drive me mad.
Songs for lovers,
by Herlina
When I'm with you alone,
I dream on a strange shore,
where there is so much light,
like diamonds sparkle in
Love songs play on the radio
Playing soft and smooth and low
Warming the soul and easing the mind
With promises of love to
I'm so sick of hearing love songs,
Especially since you've been gone.
The wounds are just too new,
And I'm still feeling blue.
