I'm sure there is evil around me, I choose not to see it, I choose, whenever I feel it's inevitable approach, to ask God to bind it and send it away from me, and God does this for me. So, of late I have not been too troubled by fears, fear of death, for death is inevitable and God knows the way and time of it for me. I trust that to God so why should I fear it?
I've stopped fearing homelessness and since I have ceased fearing it God has paved the way for me to have a humble home for a great long time. I have feared being penniless and poor, but I asked God for protection against such a state of affairs and God has provided for me, if I choose to ask it of Him I may have abundance also. I do pray for abundance so that I can shower my family and friends with gifts, but for now my prayers to God for their well being is answered and God will answer my prayer for abundance, in fact He already has, I've only to be patient and await it.
Evil is complicated and I am uncomplicated, so evil can not penetrate my shell of simplicity. I'm happy and glad in the simplicity of God's grace which is freely given and I choose to accept it. This may be one reason I take no notice of evil around me. If one of my loved ones is ensnared by evil, I pray for them, and I ask God humbly to release and destroy the evil that captured my dear one.
Evil is also deceiving and deceitful, I could easily be entrapped by the pitfalls of evil, instead I choose to give all my power to God and He takes the liberty to protect me from these pitfalls. One must surrender entirely to our God for protection and help. I have been protected all my life because I have asked for God's help all my life. Now I'm approaching old age, and life just naturally gets harder with the common pain of the elderly, but we, I pursue God's grace and I may retain His help and I await His kingdom with great joy knowing that I will be there at any time now, God's time not my own.
I'm blessed beyond my own understanding and I choose to empty myself of me, so I may be filled with the Spirit of God! There are so many ways to reach our God, and so many hands are out stretched to us by the Lord God of Hosts, if we hear a small voice inside, we must listen carefully, we will know when that voice is filled with love and He tells us to do some little thing in love, when the voice tells us to be selfish and take what we want regardless of others wishes, we will know that is the voice to ignore and pray that God binds us ever closer to Himself in protection.
It is not difficult for a simple and humble person, (not that I am perfected in these qualities) to give themselves in surrender to God who is the great protector. He will see to it that we are never touched by the adversary if we do not choose that for ourselves.
