There are many nice guys in the world. They see all these other guys with a girl and they wonder why they aren't with a girl themselves. As many people have said before, women do seem to want to go more for the "jerk" first. They are more attractive because they seem more confident and less passive than nice guys. Nice guys will tend to worry too much about how the other person feels that they forget about themselves. Some are too selfless that they forget to respect themselves and realize what they do have. Nice guys will often hide their feelings because they don't want to hurt anyone, but someone does get hurt, and that's themselves.

It is not easy living as a nice guy. They often feel ignored or neglected. Nice guys are often seen as people who will make good friends, not people women can have feelings for. They go through so much just to see the other person happy, and sometimes the other person doesn't even realize how much they went through. Many people don't see how much nice guys care. Even though nice guys may be hurt by someone, they don't stop loving them as a friend because they care about them. Some women may even try to take advantage of them because they know they are nice. There are times where nice guys may feel jealous because the one they love is with someone else, or shows an interest in someone else. They don't say anything because they don't want to interfere and cause more drama. It really isn't easy being a nice guy, especially if they are shy too, but you know what? It will all be worth it.

Many people don't realize how special nice guys are until they settle down and really put some thought into it. Sometimes women don't realize it until they are older, have children, and are divorced. Some may realize it after enough heartbreaks. Eventually, women will want the "nice guy" and they end up spending the rest of their lives together. If the nice guy is also shy, he will eventually open up after getting to know someone. Some women may feel that the guy doesn't share much with them and it makes them feel like they are behind closed doors. Sometimes it just takes time for them to open up. If the woman is patient enough, it will all be worth it when those doors open. Many women overlook the nice guys. When they are heartbroken, they wonder why they keep letting guys walk all over them, and why they keep getting jerks. Many times, the guy who they can spend the rest of their life with and be happy together is right under their nose, but they
