Poetry: Drug addiction

by Rower Girl

Created on: April 17, 2009

Drugs consume your body

as honey consumes the bee.

Oh, Why do you try to hide it

and leave me searching far and wide?

Where is your dignity, your pride,

Hidden behind a curtain of dust and lies?

Why do you do this,

do you care?

You are nothing but the Devil now,

no hope, no fear, no one to answer your addiction but the DRUG.
