The hands have to be taken care of because they will show your age quickly if you don't take care of them. We take good care of our faces and go to the gym for the body but most people don't worry about their hands when they should take care of them.

The hands reflect your age really well and should be shown the same care that we give our faces. Hands are a very important feature of the body because they are one of the first things that people tend to notice about each other.

Age spots make their first appearances on the hands and one of the first signs of departed youth is when the skin on the back of the hands becomes loose and wrinkled. Our hands are constantly regenerating the skin on them and when you use your hands a lot they regenerate skin a lot more.

A sad but true fact is that if you work with your hands a good deal this stretches the skin more than normal which contributes to casing the skin to become loose and wrinkled. Everyone's hands are exposed to pollutants more than any other part of the body.

Have you ever thought about what you do to your hands in everyday life? The hands are exposed to bacteria, dirt, germs, grease, grim and many different types of heavy cleaners and detergents every day.

Even though the skin on the palms of the hands is thicker than the skin on other parts of the body, expect for the skin on the soles of the feet, people should wear rubber gloves when performing many different tasks to protect the hands from the harsh pollutants but most people don't wear gloves.

Have you ever thought about using essential oils on the hands? Did you know that they can work wonders on the hands? By using a good mixture of essential oils you keep your hands looking their best.

Maybe you have a favorite hand cream or lotion that you can very easy add the essential oils too, but it is better to make them from scratch and you can do this at home in your own kitchen. If you try these don't be surprised about how much you will like them and your family will too.

Before you know it you will be making them for your whole family. When you make these you should store them in a glass bottle or jar that has a screw on lid that is airtight. It will also help to keep them fresh if the bottle or jar is dark in color because it will help to keep the light out.

Some good essential oils that you can use on the hands are as follows:

Carrot Oil

Geranium Oil

Lavender Oil

Lemon Oil

Lime Oil

Neroli Oil

Patchouli Oil

Rose Oil

Rosemary Oil

Sandalwood Oil

Some good essential oils
