Imagine a global black out where Internet providers would stop from transmitting data to millions of homes. Businesses would be stripped from transactions, contacts would be lost, important data would be unavailable. How would you cope with that? What website would you miss? The Internet sites you would miss would certainly be the ones you couldn't live without.

Yes, of course life continues without them, but certainly life would not be the same. Almost everybody has their own favorite Internet sites, those which are bookmarked and saved as favorites, basically those that a day does not go by without being visisted and clicked on.

Of course, everybody has different tastes when it comes to their favorite Internet Sites. The World Wide Web has certainly a lot to offer and has virtually anything for everyone. It all depends on your personal taste and what you love to do. However, there are some Internet Sites that nowadays have become more indispensable than others.

-Goggle

Most Internet searches start from this very basic search engine. Google is very popular and the most frequently used search engine. It brings accurate fast results like no other search engine. It now also offers images, videos, books and much more. The search engine has grown so popular that the term ''Google it'' was coined.

-Facebook

Facebook has successfully reunited life long class mates, old buddies and even old flames. It currently hold millions of members across the globe that keep in touch thanks to this social site. It is great to have regular updates from friends across the globe to which you can also chat. Facebook has addicted many people, definitely a website not many people could live without.

-Financial Institutions

On a more serious note, many people rely on Internet banking nowadays for their financial needs. On-line banking allows to check your daily balance, pay bills and complete other important types of transactions.

-Pay-pal

Many businesses nowadays rely on Paypal for their Internet transactions. Most Ebay transactions are completed via Paypal and should this website become unavailable for some reason, this would translate to many financial losses for businesses that heavily rely on Paypal.

Of course, there are many other websites that people may find indispensable. On line shopping addicts may not be able to live without Amazon or Ebay, whereas Internet gamers may be unable to live without their favorite gaming sites. To each their own. For me personally, Helium would be on top of the list.
