The so-called need for yet another US military base is questionable. Considering Barrack Obama choice of advisor in this matter is Zbignew Brezinsky, a long standing anti-Russian oligarch who has spent the better part of his life in a campaign to bring down the so-called Soviet regime, this is not surprising. Mr. Brezinsky, if you recall, made his fame as an advisor to the Reagan regime and played a primary role in the concept and creation of the Mujaheddin or freedom-fighters in Afghanistan. He was charged with financing, recruiting and giving arms to this scattered band of militia-type resistance fighters. Brezinsky, under advisement from Henry Kissinger, created the Mujaheddin to taunt the Soviets into a clash with the mountain peoples of Afghanistan. he did this six months before the Soviets entered Afghanistan. The clash that ensued ultimately became a Vietnam type war for the Soviets that hastened their downfall. All part of the devious scheme from Reagan's vice president at the time, you guessed it; George H.W. Bush, another CIA supporter. Kudos to Brezinsky right? Wrong, very wrong in fact! What the CIA accomplished was to eliminate the very reason for spending taxpayer's hard-earned cash on the Military Industrial Complex that members of the elite in the United States and Wall Street power-brokers drew immense profits from.

The establishment cannot operate this Military machine without a viable threat and with the Soviets gone...what could they do but create another enemy!

After their so-called successful campaign to rid the middle east of the Soviets, the Mujaheddin went on, under CIA steering, to form the early stages of the Taliban and the Al-Qaeda (which translates as 'the base'). The debate as to weather these groups continue to be funded and operated by members of the US intelligence community is still raging within the alternate press, but has gained little attention, if any, from the corporate owned mainstream media. (A nod to Rupert Murdoch) The idea that Al-Qaeda somehow manifested the attacks on 9/11 is debatable, but that's not relevant here. What is relevant is that this organization was formed by none other than the same advisor who created this multi-headed monster, the irresponsible Zbignew Brezinsky. Al-Qaeda, in the current mainstream media's eyes, is accountable for everything surrounding the War on Terror or in other words, the New Cold-War.

It plays out that as the World is beginning to see through the CIA's charade that Al-Qaeda
