I am a Christian proud and tall
But ever day I feel my pain
my faith begins to fall
I love him for he is the one and only
But in this human body I feel so lonely
Wondering why and what have I done wrong
To feel this much pain for so long
I know in life we have to go through trials
To keep our faith strong
But being a human without much understanding
This is troubling
So I go on and try not to question
Hoping someday soon I will be worthy enough for him to mention
Why I had to go through all of this pain
My pain stricken body so withered and drained
