There are many reasons why a woman would chose to have an abortion. Health issues, poverty, rape, too many children or simply because they aren't ready to have a child. If the women chooses to abort, it's her prerogative. She's the one who will have to face her decision and live with it. However, I feel abortion should not be used as a form of birth control, women shouldn't abuse the right.

Abortions are one of the most controversial topics circulating around the world. With the rising rates of abortions happening, it's hard not to discus the factors of the decision. When it comes down to the question "Should a father have a say in a abortion" I feel the answer should be no. It is a woman's choice after all, it's her body, her life and should be her decision.

Men should certainly have input on the decision, especially since it's their DNA. The man helped create the baby, so he should have the right to be informed. Informing the male and letting him give opinions is only fair. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, especially when it comes down to such a touchy subject. All that matters is the final decision after all. The choice should be made by the woman, and the woman only.

As the old saying goes "it takes two" and that is obviously very true, but the life of the fetus depends on the mother. It takes both male and female to produce a baby, but it's the mother who has to take full responsibility while it's in her womb. Most people who haven't carried a child think it's simple, but it's not. Women literally have to change their whole lifestyle in order to try and have a healthy baby. No more late nights, bad eating habits, drinking or anything else that could harm the baby. That's also not including the not so fun side of being pregnant such as morning sickness, aching back, cramps and stretch marks. If men went through all the same symptoms as women, then sure! Allow them to have a right, but until then it should be all the women's choice,

Often men give up their paternal obligations leaving the woman with all the responsibility. It's the mother who has to carry the baby for nine months, take care of herself and bond with the fetus. It's the mother who has change her complete lifestyle for the baby. And it's the mother who should be able to decide her future.

Women should not feel pressured to have a child, especially if they are not ready. It's a huge responsibility that comes with a lot of work. It's fantastic if a man wants to take part in being a father, but men must understand it's a women's choice.Women nor men shouldn't allow others to decide what happens to their bodies and future.
