Verse 1: Sometimes we must think about the future, even if it has past us by; for the children of the world deserve more than broken promises that are more ancient than mythology; and if humanity continues down this destructive path, we might wonder one day what happened to God's creation; the blue sky will become a thing of the past; the hummingbird's melody will long be forgotten; and our homes will be no more; therefore, the selfishness and bickering among the nations must end because we cannot afford to leave another heartbroken mother alone.

Chorus: It's time to unite the entire world,
for our brothers and sisters around the globe are suffering;
so we must now hear their cries, even if we have previously ignored them, for God is calling us to be more loving, regardless of our location or rank in society.

Versus 2: And remember none of us are too good to lend a helping hand, for the hand of God brings everyone into this restless world, so it's time to make a change for the better in you and me because we are all relatives to the celestial throne; as a result, peace and love must not only exist on the pages of well-written fairy tales and philosophy; the suffering of the afflicted can be solved if we come together with open minds and caring hearts; play your partplay your part to make the world a better place.
