Short stories: The dinner

What a dinner it was. It was a beautiful feast prepared by the finest chefs in the world. Chefs who had studied in Paris, Italy, and countless other fabulous avenues. For most dinners they would charge thousands if not tens of thousands of dollars, but not this one. This dinner was special, and the chefs put out it out on there best kitchen ware.

It was all laid out on marvelous gold plates and the table was covered with silver candle holders. The napkins were gold leafed and all the people gasped in awe at the beautiful and sparkling clean display that would normally stay as such after the dinner, but these weren't ordinary people and this wasn't an ordinary dinner. This dinner was special, and the people came from far away to join in this feast.

The people were from the highest regions of society. Rich bankers in fancy suits, and presidential candidates from powerful countries. They all donated alot of money to various charities, but nothing would they give more then for the chance to take a seat at the dinner. After all this dinner was special, and even in thier Italian leather and two thousand dollar tuxidos, they were more then willing to be seated.

They sat in there high backed hand crafted chairs, and were all quiet and solemn at first. This was the first time for many of them, but the hunger for the feast burned within many of them. Not a normal hunger, but the kind of hunger, that drives men mad. A powerful dark hunger that lingers long after your stomach is filled. After all this was no normal feast.

This dinner consisted not of ham, poultry or any common meats, and the red wine was a tad too dark and a bit too thick to had come from a normal winery. The dinner was revealed. They looked scared as their naked bodies were exposed to the cold frigid air. One man near the end of the table could wait no more. He picked up his knife and fork and dug in. As she screamed he only eat faster and more ferociously, ripping and tearing as she struggled against the chains. Her screams soon became muffled as the others also began to eat.

The dinner was nearly complete, most of the young girls were quiet now, and only a few men were still picking at the bones with their knifes and forks. They rose and laughed at the red stained coats and various scratches from arms that broke free of their chains. oh, the joy and satisfaction they felt was so evident after that dinner, and what a dinner it was! What a dinner indeed.
