Why people struggle with honesty

There appear to be two distinct types of person, honest people and liars.Honest people may occasionally lie for a good purpose, such as to avoid embarrassing someone needlessly. Such an action is known as a white lie and there is the saying that white lies are entered in heaven in invisible ink.

That is just as it should be.Otherwise honest people have no struggle with honesty. Telling the truth is something which is second nature to them and it also makes perfect sense, since they don't have to keep remembering everything they said to avoid getting caught in a lie. That's why honesty is indeed the best policy.

Then there are liars. Some people(usually liars)would try to deny the existence of liars, but it has been painfully clear for a considerable time that everything in the garden is not rosy and liars, along with other maladjusted specimens, are the nuisances causing this state of affairs.Liars are constantly struggling with honesty, the poor things, and they always lose.

Goebbels, Hitler's propaganda minister, had the shameful motto 'Repeat a lie often enough and it will be believed'. Unfortunately this is all too often the case and it is easy to come up with a lie (just say the first convenient thing that flits between your ears). That's what liars do all the time.Pity help anyone who takes any notice of their verbal diarrhoea. The only thing to do is tell them to blow it out of their behinds.

On the other hand, finding and proving the truth is much more difficult. Also, lies can be made as appealing as any liar likes while the truth is not always pleasant (the awful truth) so some people are easy victims of liars. Apart from Hitler's gang, the activities of liars have been evident throughout history.

History itself has in fact become a liar's playground since dead men tell no tales. Irish terrorists in particular are constantly trying to excuse their atrocities using their latest version of history as a crutch. Unfortunately,'Irish Americans' are all too willing to believe their nonsense and finance their atrocities. They would do better to seriously consider the words 'By their works shall ye know them'.

It does appear that compulsive liars are simply inferior to honest people. This is in disagreement with the fine sounding statement that no man is beyond redemption. This particular lie might have been well intended but that does not make it true. At best it is wishful thinking.Liars are completely beyond redemption and if no man was beyond redemption hell would not exist. That is the last desperate fantasy of the liars who are going there.

Some men are obviously beyond redemption, for example serial killers and terrorists. Some people are simply too soft, wanting to believe that such specimens can be helped. The fact is that no decent (or honest)man is beyond redemption but this does not apply to all men.Hopeless cases do exist, whether some people want to accept it or not, and they are all liars.People who choose to turn a blind eye to that harsh reality are living in a fool's paradise and asking for trouble.

The existence of liars has become painfully obvious in the U.S.A. recently. They are blethering unbelievable nonsense about football and are also up to all sorts of dirty tricks. What can you expect from a pig but a grunt? It promises to get even funnier on their way to hell.
