Score Tortoise
sullen seas like ice
gleaming sheen rise spikes
fly right land true
let stupid cupid arrows do
what compels
them then propels
them through imaginary space
distance minus hasty pace
to take and taste the cake
in zero shakes of lamb tails
to understand snail's or turtle's hesitation
both rocket's and rabbit's elation
is all take and no give
as the long dead wait
for the short lived

Where we came from, nobody knows
