There are a great many ways of creating an income for you on the Internet in these rough economic times but we need to be careful that we are not scammed. These scams are becoming common today as the economy slips further down the proverbial toilet. A few years ago as I was surfing the Internet looking for money making opportunities to help stretch my full-time income as a certified nurses aide I came across the website associatedcontent.com. This website allowed me to write almost anything I wanted, and they paid me.

Not only would they give me an upfront payment for some articles they would also give me some money for the page views that those articles generated the prior month. I was hooked after I earned a few dollars for those first articles.

The income that I was generating from the Internet was going to pay my transportation costs to get back and forth from my full-time job. When you stop to realize my transportation cost to get back and forth from that job was $60 a week or a whopping $240 a month you begin to see the potential as I did.

I write articles on various topics such as household product reviews, do-it-yourself articles, game reviews, personal essays, or anything else that strikes my fancy. On some of the freelance writing sites I am given up for payment and page views but on, other sites I am just given an upfront payment for the article itself but forego the page view payments. I can honestly say I very much like my job.

I have done this for almost two years now and the only cost that I had to spend was the cost of my Internet each month. Therefore, I am not spending any more a month I normally would anyhow to conduct my business
