How to find writing ideas

You have stared at the computer screen for the preceding two hours. You have no ideas what to write. You envy those writers who can write and write, as if they are being possessed.

How do you find writing ideas?

One way is to go a crowded place, such as a shopping mall. You will see all kinds of people walking about. You will see children running around, and their parents yelling for them to stop running. You wonder how to help parents discipline their children.

Once the question comes into your mind, please write it down. You can do your research when you reach home.

As you depart from the supermarket, you notice the postures of all the people walking in front of you. Some walk so fast that they almost knock down everyone. You think that it is so rude of them to walk recklessly, wonder why they have to walk so fast.

Let your imagination soars. Think of all the reasons that people are in a rush. Write down the question and the likely answers to that.

A walk to the shopping mall, to the park or anywhere else can generate a lot of ideas. Your brain is busy observing the people and things, and curious enough to ask questions.

Another source of inspiration comes from the books you read, the newspaper you read and even the articles you read online.

You read about the difference between good debt and bad debt, as defined by Robert Kiyosaki. Do you agree with his definition? If you agree, you may write an article about it using personal examples. If you do not agree, by all means, inform your readers.

You may decide to generate a few articles on this topic. You want the first article to explain the concept of good debt and bad debt. The
