So much has changed since the global recession. Countless people have been affected. Even the very rich people are finding means to augment their income. Many people have sold their properties because they need the money. Businesses have been closed because the owners thought it right to close down instead of suffering the many demands from employees who want increase in the salary that they could hardly afford. The global economic crisis has affected most families globally especially the people who belong to the lower class group.

In the Philippines, the poor have become poorer still since the global recession. Many people have been left jobless because many factories and companies have closed down.
The only people who are having fun yet are the wealthy people, but even the wealthy are complaining because they have to cut on other luxury items to cope with the global crisis. Families of overseas workers who have been living a comfortable life are now suffering the same fate as the other poor families because thousands of overseas workers have been deported or have lost their extra jobs and are not anymore earning that much.

When the global recession swept the wealthy countries where many Filipinos are enjoying a lucrative pay, I was one of those who panicked. Most of my students were either supported by relatives who were working overseas or they have a father who is on the marine service. Many students of mine have stopped tutorial services because they cannot afford anymore the high cost of education. I was worried during the first two months when even the good payers became delinquent payers. All payments were delayed and many students were not able to pay.
Prayer was my only hope of ever surviving. But even my fervent prayers didn't suffice to make the situation better. The next month became worse and I have to make a move or else my son and I will go hungry. Finding another job is out of the question because I am over age and it is very hard to be hired. There must be a way, I insisted.

I was banking on my computer and how I could earn from it. I have heard that a lot of people are earning online. My mind was lost in the many sites that are offering a lot of money with just a few hours work. I was skeptical about these sites.
This is how I found out about the writing sites. Although I am not earning that much, I could say that the few dollars I am earning online goes a long way. Helium is the best earning site I have today. I am still finding other ways to earn. In this time of crisis, one must learn to look for ways to earn extra money. It is not enough to have just one job which does not pay well.

With the number of people looking for ways to earn it seems too hard to pitch in. But trying hard will keep me going. There is always hope for people who know how to remedy things.
