Is God responsible for the good and the bad?

No way. I believe that God is the embodiment of goodness and if you check your bible you will see that was why he/she sent Jesus in the flesh to die for the world. God/ an entity of goodness cannot look upon dirt/evil/filth/ and so could never be responsible for anything bad. When he sent his spiritual son down to earth as a human, had him die for our sins so that we could at least be given a chance at eternal life with him, (through asking for forgiveness) the door was opened for the devil to actually have the gumption to test God's son.

Previously, when Lucifer tried to collide with God, push his conceited will out there in heaven, it started a war and he was cast out with his minions. They fell, took refuge in the darkest region of spirituality. When Jesus was thirty and he went into the wilderness to fast for 40 days, he was tempted by the devil/Lucifer. Questions were put forth to him, the son of a God! How impudent. How can Lucifer tell the son of God to worship him so he can have all the kingdoms of the world, when Jesus father made the world and all that's within it? Jesus told the devil. "Get thee behind me."

That's a diss if I ever heard one. Yes, Jesus was human and he had a turn of words, yet he still had the spiritual connection with his father, God.

Try if you will to imagine you have a hobby, one which you fall in love with, painting for example. You paint a beautiful picture, set it to the side and every time you look at it it makes you happy. Then one day it gets wet, gets mold on it, gets dirty. You try to clean it, fix it, but the mold leaves stains on the picture and it's just not the same picture-to every one but you. You find you still love the picture because you can remember how beautiful it was, can still see the beauty of it under the stains of the mold and dirt.

I believe that's how God sees the world, as a work of art that he created, that he loves. Unfortunately, the world has become a filthy place both physically and spiritually. So, God can't look at the dirt and filth that we've made of the world, but he can remember how beautiful it was when he created it and when he does perchance look at this world, he sees the original beautiful world. God tried to help us by giving us his son, Jesus, and by giving us wisdom to make choices, giving us the choice to do good or bad, and if we chose bad, he gave us the choice to repent, say I'm sorry, I'll do better next time. He gave us goodness and light. How can such a being ever be responsible for anything bad? Leave it to Lucifer and his minions. Give them the credit they deserve. Lucifer had the innate gall to test God's son. What makes anyone think he won't test the lowly human race every day of our life?
