You came to me in time of need
And walked right through my door
the clock upon the mantle
just started to strike four
I cleared the sleep out from my eyes
pulled my pants on, you cried for hours
then tried to smile as best that you could
I held your hand and listened long
of the troubles that bothered you
when you were done, you had to run
so I jogged right next to you
Later on that evening after work
my eyes were red, my feet were dead
but my heart was filled with love for you
for friendship cares not what time it is
or what you have to do,
and nothing is more important to me
than the friendship I have with you.
should your doorbell ever ring
long past the hour of two
don't be alarmed it's only me
this time in need of you,
that's what friends do.

Comfortable Silence
As far back as we go,
Nobody will ever know
The closeness that we share,
The distance our rivers flow.

Friendship is a Garden
Friendship is a garden
that blooms within the heart.
Its soil is rich and fertile
with love's presence

FRIENDSHIP
Talking and laughing,
rememberin g the good old times.
Telling old stories,
yours and mine.
Singing and dancing
letting
In your life you meet very few
Friends who are always there for you
Who make you laugh when you want to cry
Who no matter what

" A FRIEND "
Who's that certain person
That lends an open ear
Who lets you speak your mind
With nothing to fear...
Who can you
