Neighbors can be a great asset to you. These people often become some of your closest friends. Then there are the others. The ones that you just can't figure out no matter what. Honestly, neighbors can be very weird. You move into a nice neighborhood and think that everyone will be just fine. One day you wake up to find that you have new neighbors and something just isn't right with them.

Here is a weird neighbor story from the nicer end of town:

Moving in with my boyfriend sounded like a great idea. There was one small problem. He was in the process of a divorce and his wife was best friends with the neighbor. This created many problems along the way and I was never able to have a cordial conversation with this neighbor for that fact. This didn't involve fighting so much as it involved hearing about the wife every time he and I made a decision to change something around the yard or house.

Eventually, that couple decided to move which was music to the ears. I would no longer have to live in the shadow of the ex-wife. The house was put up on the market and within months we had a new neighbor. Ecstatic isn't enough to describe how I felt about this.

We met the couple before they moved into the house. They seemed very nice. They have two children and a large Mastiff dog. This was going to work out great! We exchanged a little conversation and the couple was on their way.

The house has been occupied now for nearly two years. The behavior seems to get stranger and stranger as we go along. The weird actions of this person started rather early on. Here are a couple of things that can be construed as weird behavior from this neighbor.

My granddaughter was visiting me. She was very small at the time and I had just put her down to sleep for the night. Upon walking into the living room, a bright light hit my eyes. It was nearly ten o'clock at night yet the sound of a chain saw was buzzing in the night air. Peering out the window to find out where the offensive light was coming from in the dead of winter, I noticed that there was a man moving around in the neighboring yard.

The first thought that went through my head is that Jaden was trying to sleep. It would be rather upsetting if the noise and lights woke her up. The bright light referred to earlier was a spot light which was hung in a tree close to our house. The buzzing noise was indeed a chainsaw. I could not believe my eyes. This man was cutting down a tree in the middle of the night. He wore a flannel shirt and was working
