-KELLOGGS NUTRI-GRAIN BAR-

Kellogg's Nutri-Grain bars are totally delicious. I bought them as a snack that would be an alternative to the many chocolate bars of which I am quite fond. I feel I am eating something a little healthier with these and they are only 205 calories per bar, which is probably a little less than a chocolate bar would be. They are the perfect size for a snack and I find them pretty filling also, making them a perfect between meals bite. -

I bought two varieties of the Kellogg's Nutri-Grain bars as the picture of the product looked so nice on the front of the box. They were also on a special offer of two boxes for 2.00 at Tesco last week. I bought the 'Baked Oat Bar' with golden syrup and the Cherry with cranberry flavour and I thought they were an absolute bargain as each box contained six of the oat baked bars, making them just under 17p each. -

-THE PRODUCT-

The product comes in a colourful cardboard box with a picture with of the product on the front with a piece broken off so that you can see the oat goodness contained within the bar. The bar itself is sealed within a thick plastic wrapper that is foil lined. The weight is 50g and the bar is 5 inches long. The smell of the product inside the packet is gorgeous especially the golden syrup one. It is sweet and syrupy and totally delicious.

The taste is perfect! It is moist, chewy and oaty, with a taste of rich golden syrup. I can taste dried porridge oats. A really satisfying bite; the cherry one too is also lovely. It has cranberries mixed with the cherry to give a really unique flavour. These really are very satisfying flavours and the texture to them is interesting too. - "Deliciously soft and satisfying"

-INGREDIENTS-

The Kellogg's Cherry Nutri-Grain bars contain: Whole Rolled Oats - Sugar -Syrup - Vegetable Oil - Apple - Glucose - Sweetened Dried Cranberries - Wheat flour -Golden Syrup - Dried Skimmed Milk - Vitamin B6 -Vitamin B12 - Iron - Folic Acid - E500 - Calories per bar: 205. -

-SUMMARY-

I thought these were lovely. Succulent and moist with a really delicious taste to them too. I liked their 'oatiness' and 'chewiness' also and I actually felt that I has just eaten something that was quite good for me. I shall definitely be buying these again and if Kellogg's stick to the same recipe, I shall do so for the foreseeable future. They have quite a few flavours in the range such as: Raisin, ginger and blueberry. They really are delicious and I'll give them 9/10.-
