As a busy mother to two beautiful children, and the wife to a loving husband, my top ten gift wish list may be somewhat different from the conventional one. No matter, a girl has to dream.

Therefore, here's my list of the top ten gifts I'd like to receive.

* More Time With My Family.

Time stands still for no one. With household chores, homeschooling duties, outside errands, and other family responsibilities, like many mothers, I never feel that there is enough time in the day to take care of everything. It is for this very reason, that more time with my family tops the list of the top ten gifts I'd like to receive.

* An Extra Set Of Hands.

What busy mother hasn't made the proverbial cry, "I only have two hands?" Although great at multitasking, even the seasoned mom could use an extra set of hands. Therefore, if it was genetically possible, and aesthetically pleasing, an extra set of hands would be so awesome!

* Words of Gratitude.

Mommies are great jugglers. We have to be since we preform a variety of duties. We're the butchers, the bakers, and the candlestick makers. Therefore, simple words of gratitude (whether written, or verbal), is definitely at the top of my gift list.

* Rest.

"There is no rest for the weary", or mom's for that matter. Whether we work outside the home, or opt to stay home exclusively, our work days begin early and end late - leaving little time for rest. A gift offering of just a day's worth of uninterrupted sleep would be fine by me.

* Peace of Mind.

With the disturbing events witnessed and experienced in the world today, the ideal that our children, and our personal safety will never be compromised would be a great relief. Therefore, true peace of mind is my idea of one of the best gifts to recieve.

* Perfect Health.

Unfortunately, sickness is a part of life. Whether it's minor or major, it's an experience no one ever relishes. Perfect health for my family, and myself would be a welcome treat.

* Energy of A Child.

It never fails to amaze me the amount of energy my four and one year old have. Put them down for a thirty minute nap, and they awaken with boundless energy as if they've been sleeping for days. If I had the ability to rebound like that, what a perfect gift that would be.

* The Return of My Old Body.

After carrying and giving birth - via C-section - to two beautiful children (one over 7lbs, the other over 8lbs), I haven't quite gotten my girlish figure back. The return of my once voluptuous body, would be a welcome gift at anytime.

* Financial Stability.

I'm a simple girl, and being rich is not my desire. However, to be financial stable, and not have to worry about my family's financial situation, sounds okay to me.

* The Perfect Hair Day Everyday.

Like most women, I have had an on-again, off-again, love-hate relationship with my hair. Therefore; my vanity put aside; out of pure necessity, would the possession of the perfect hair style (every day), be a great gift bestowed upon me.

True, though not a conventional gift list, anything that will make family life run smoother, would make the perfect gift for me.
