Paradoxes in debates about the origins of the world

by Jose Bustamante

Created on: April 15, 2009

It is a travesty to talk about paradoxes in debates about the origins of the world, a creator, faith and all that mumbo jumbo we use to bolster our fear to the unknown. We should be trying to find a solution to the problems we face nowadays. Wars, hunger, deceases, discrimination, social disparities, rich, poor, and so many other topics that divide humankind.

It is a contradiction that we pay more attention to the origins of the world, and let millions of fellow humans die in poverty, of hunger and deceases, in wars. The only paradox that really exist, is our behavior.

Blowing our energy by trying to tackle the origins of the world, the existence of God will not take us to understand the purpose of our reality.

First we have to understand our position in the universe, and the only way we can do that is to know our potentials.

Second, we have to realize that as individual beings we form part of the whole of the cosmos. We can not break apart of the natural laws that exist in our world.

Third, we have to tame our ego. Our self importance is the root of all our problems. It is an irony that with all the power our mind has, we have to be looking outside us for answers.

The world did not originate in a "big bang," nor was created by an all powerful entity. We assume that everything in existence has a beginning, but our perspective of the macrocosm is clouded by our position in the whole of what is. We live in a tridimensional world, all the answers we can get are limited to that dimension. We are not in a position to observe the whole picture. To be able to take a glimpse of the whole of the universe, we have to master the use of our mind. We have to learn to use the senses of our intellect.

In our world there are no paradoxes, everything is as simple as the behavior of an atomic particle. We, with our behavior, are the biggest paradox. Our egotism will not allow us to see beyond the self impose limits of understanding about our position in this world of us. We can not walk alone, nor be guided by fantasy creatures. We have to walk hand by hand with reality and this is beyond our understanding of the whole.

Let us first, put at end to our own messy world, then let us discover the potentials of our mind, master them and then let us try to understand the whole of what is.

Everything that there is to know is already with us, we have to learn to observe and put things together and we will find that paradoxes are only for those who need an outside source to find answers to their challenges.

The primeval law of everything is, one for all, and all for one.
