It was the faint caress of an ancient wind,
A Whisper between the rows
Of lost loves and forgotten sorrows
Epitaphs to a weary soul
Your caress long forgotten from the memory of my flesh
But my soul permitting it to linger
As fresh as the passing of that ancient wind
A touch with no earthly measure
Linger...linger...my love's caress
Just a moment longer
For eternity is kind to the loving mind
Who clings to its lover's Whisper.
